Greetings,
It's been a while, approximately seven months since there has been a post on this site. Instead of trying to provide numerous, and potentially lame reasons I will borrow a line from Star Trek: The Next Generation, the crew of the Enterprise encounters a Romulan Warbird, and the Romulans said something like this, "We've been busy/away for a while, but now we're back."
The people at Tinker Taylor Publications contacted us a few months ago and asked us if we would be interested in submitting an article for possible publication for Maytaway Quarterly. Since we're a bunch of freelance academics and we like to write things we were indeed interested. Short story long, we agreed. The article we submitted is entitled How to get from indigenous philosophies to game mechanics: how ideology shapes the design of games.
